Winter Screens is the exciting new indoor cinema experience from the team behind Summer Screens. During the colder, darker months, Winter Screens will be converting some spectacular spaces into amazing movie theatres, to offer you the definitive popup cinema experience.

FAQ

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Afraid not, but you will be delighted to hear that the Winter Screens bar is at all our events with a range of alcoholic and soft drinks available.

There is also a range of cinema snacks and food available including freshly popped popcorn, chocolates and sweets. Our famous hotdogs will also be making a welcome return to our events this winter.

Can I bring my baby to the event?

Unfortunately babies or infants under 4 years old are not permitted at any of our events.

Can I buy a ticket on the door?

We do not sell tickets at the box office, however you will be able to buy online  right up until the start of the film, even whilst you queue!

Can I smoke?

All our venues are non-smoking including the use of electronic devices.

Can under 18’s come to Winter Screens?

Guests aged 4 to 17 are welcome to attend Winter Screens events.

If you are aged under 16 years you need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and the film needs to be of the correct certification.

Unfortunately babies or infants under 4 years old are not permitted at any of our events for welfare reasons, and out of consideration for other guests.

No guests under 18 are permitted to consume alcohol at the event and we run a Challenge 25 policy at all our events.

Do all venues have toilets?

Yes, all our venues have toilets.

Do Winter Screens provide personal assistant and carer tickets?

Winter Screens follows the CEA guidelines for personal assistant and carer tickets at cinemas. Guests aged 16 years and over are eligible to apply for a free ticket if they receive one of the following.

Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
Attendance Allowance (AA)
Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
Blind Persons Registration

To arrange a ticket, please purchase your ticket as normal and then email ask@winterscreens.co.uk with your CEA card details and booking reference,  we will then add the additional ticket to your booking.

Please note that a Blue Badge alone does not qualify for a personal assistant ticket.

Winter Screens do not offer personal assistant tickets to guests under 16 years as all guests of this age must be accompanied by an adult.

Do your screenings have subtitles?

As standard Winter Screens do not offer subtitles at our events. If you are interested in a specific film and would to see if subtitles can be made available, please email hello@winterscreens.co.uk.

Do your venues have disabled access and facilities?

Yes all of our venues have disabled access and facilities. If you require assistance on the day, please ask a member of the Winter Screens team and they will be delighted to assist you.

If you are attending in a wheelchair, there is a dedicated area in each venue. If however you are attending as part of a larger group, please contact us in advance of the event so we can ensure you are sat together.

I can no longer attend the event, can I get a refund or exchange my tickets?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on ticket purchases if you can no longer attend or purchased tickets in error.

You can however give your ticket to a friend or family member to attend. The name on the ticket will not need to be changed as long as the guest has a copy.

I have not received my ticket, what do I do?!

No problem!

First off,  please check you junk/spam folder as sometimes the tickets can end up in there.

If you still do not have them but you have your booking reference number, please visit www.seetickets.com/customerservice where you can download your tickets directly.

Alternatively,  if you do not have your booking reference,  please enter your email address in the forgotten details field on the same page.

Is the seating allocated?

All the seating at our events is unallocated and you pick when you arrive, the earlier you get to the event, the more choice there will be. Don’t worry though, there is the right number of each type so you will definitely always get your seat and all have a great view.

If you have any problems when you are there or you’re not sure where to sit, please ask a member of the Winter Screens staff who will be more than happy to help you.

What happens if it rains?

You sit there and think how wonderful it is to be watching a movie at our fantastic indoor event whilst its raining outside!

What time do the doors open?

The doors open into the cinema 45 minutes to 1 hour before the start of the film starts.

What time does the film start?

Film will start at the the published time.
